"My first visit to the Lake District. It’s like a dream come true. The cottage could not be cosier or more comfortable, the village more quaint or picturesque, or scenery more awe-inspiring. I am torn between wanting to tell everyone how wonderful this little corner of England is and being afraid they’ll all come over here and spoil it. I hate to leave.
