“I took my family to stay at Scafell Cottage in Boot from 24th to 31st October this year and we had the most wonderful holiday. We all thought the cottage was absolutely stunning and so cosy and warm and exceptionally well equipped with everything needed to make our holiday even better. (Even to the lovely idea of providing two cuddly teddy bears on the twin beds for the two older children). The weather on the first day was a 'bit to be desired' but we were so comfortable and cosy the rain didn't bother us one tiny bit. Even the three children of 7, 5 and 2 years of age were happy to stay in and play. They thought the cottage was fabulous and want to go back next year. Bob the caretaker was very pleasant indeed and the pub in the village – well what can I say – we were never away!! You have done a beautiful job with those cottages Greg, the area is outstandingly lovely and the Ratty railway a real treat for the children. We will certainly want to come and stay again and thank you from my family and myself for making our holiday so relaxing.”
