Boot is a lovely village in the heart of the most beautiful valley in the Lakes (and that is saying something!).
We have taken our summer holiday at Bridge End Farmhouse for the last 5 years, and it is always a wonderful experience to come back.
The Farmhouse is the most authentic and unchanged of all the buildings at Bridge End: stunning wooden floors, doors and walls, a really comfortable living room, and a really classy dining room. Downside: the floors creak a bit!
The walking is stunning, there are two really good pubs nearby, and the Ratty (the old steam railway) is less than 10 minutes away.
